My friend quit her job to go volunteer at a Hospital in Bere, Tchad (or Chad), in Africa. People in the West didn’t understand, and told her she would die if she went, either by terrorists, kidnapping, or disease. This shirt was created in response to that statement, that maybe everyone is human everywhere, and that just because a place is not a tourist destination does not mean it’s unsafe.
