I Survived Hurricane Irma Mug

Hurricane Irma came over my house in Florida as a Category 1 storm in the dark hours after midnight on September 11, 2017. We lost power for three days afterward and I don't know how long it'll take to de-stress from the anxiety we Floridians felt for a week or more. In most of Florida, Irma was not the disaster it could have been, but it landed as a major Category 4 hurricane. This is my way to commemorate the somewhat scary experience and to express the joy of seeing the sun shine once again here in Florida... where the sun lives. The graphic on one side of this coffee mug shows a bright orange sun emerging from behind a red hurricane symbol bearing the words, "I survived Hurricane Irma." The other side shows traditional Florida palm trees under a blazing sun.
