This mug has no rough edges on the bottom, and no dimples in the ceramic--something that I often find on mugs from discount stores. I expect it will last a very long time. Image was exactly as pictured, and perfectly clear on the mug. The recipient was quite tickled to receive a mug with her personal motto on it! I was so happy with this purchase that I did buy a different mug for another friend.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
