This image is adapted from the wood carving on an old Swiss butter mould. We have interpreted it in the sytle of eastern European folk art. It shows a Hussar or Hussard, a type of cavalry which first developed in Hungary in the 15th Century and eventually spread across Europe. Great for Kids, great for history buffs, militaria fans, people who love Hungary, Prussia etc...
