Hungarian Parliament Building Budapest Hungary Postcard
The Hungarian Parliament Building sits on the bank of the Danube River and is the largest building in Hungary and the tallest building in Budapest. There was a plan to have the building facing the river and an international competition was held for the design. Imre Steindl won that competition and construction based on his winning plan began in 1885 and was completed by 1904.
