Hummingbird On Branch Warm Yellow Green Colours Label

Printed on these medium size return address labels is a photo in warm yellow and green tones of a female Anna's Hummingbird resting on a branch. These are the most commonly seen hummingbirds in the Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona areas. At one time they were only temporary residents there in the winter, their permanent home being coastal Southern California. They not only love the carbohydrate sugars of flower nectar but also eat vast numbers of small flying insects. They are more vocal than other hummingbird species and are very territorial. This one's territory was an area with many Chuparosa Shrubs, which have tubular red flowers and were blooming in abundance (early February of 2019), and are a favourite food of hummers!
