With a print found in a 19th century collection of color prints depicting motifs from a variety of eras and regions, located on the page entitled ‘Renaissance’. So someone circa AD 1400 had the bright idea to give a bird a human face. Soooo clever. Plus it looks kinda neato on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including mugs. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
