House At the End of the Lane Postcard

This is that house from your childhood. Maybe it was in your neighbourhood, maybe it was in your town. It’s that one that is not too far away from the other houses, but for some reason feels like it is all alone. It’s abandoned and rumour has it that the place is haunted. It gives you the heebie jeebies whenever you walk past it. It’s the place friends dare each other to go into and teens take their girlfriends there to scare them. It’s that place where no one thinks to look when someone goes missing because deep down, we know where they’ve gone and we know they aren’t coming back.
