    Hot Tropic Batik Kitchen Towel

    The original art for this design was hand painted using resist for the white line work, as traditional batiks are done in Indonesia. Dry brush work and painting were done in gouache giving the art a traditional vintage tropical look. The flowers are all tropical taken from inspiration from hiking in Hawaii. Enjoy the bright fun orange and red colours of this piece, as an accent within your home, or an accessory for the office, gift or to wear. The new trend in retro tropicals is definitely hot!

    I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
