This is the 36 annual Quechee balloon festival and while the balloons didn't not ascend to the heavens on Friday night, on Saturday morning they made up for it. 19 balloons took off after the morning fog cleared and due to a High pressure centred over Quechee, there was little wind and the balloon pilots were able to find winds travelling in different directions and stayed around the Quechee covered bridge
