Honu Sea Turtle Hawaiian Tapa -Indigo Tablecloth

Natural and tonal indigo colorway. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth, and allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends. This pattern is featured on men’s neckties, bandanas, phone cases, laptop sleeves, home furnishings and more.

The cloth is good quality and thickness but it does crease easily, even if rolled up so a steamer is advised for event day. I would rate higher but the cloth is actually on off-white colour and stands out significantly against our other true white. If i were to order again I wouldnt choose a white cloth or I''d add a colour background so it doesnt look so cream-ish.
