Honjo Daikon Medium Gift Bag
The crest of daikon radish. The design and the name of this crest are based on 'Mon Den' (encyclopedia of family crests). Keishoin was the mother of the fifth shogun, Tsunayoshi Tokugawa. She decided to use the daikon radish crest so that she would not forget that she was a daughter of a radish vendor. The Honjo clan, who was founded by her younger brother, Munenobu, and became the lord of Tamba-Miyazu domain with 70,000 koku, inherited this daikon radish crest (according to 'Family Crests Reflecting Japanese Minds' by Yoshiaki Kusunoki, p.211). Yorisuke Numata wrote in his 'Japanese Crests Study' that the theory that Keishoin was a daughter of a radish vendor is not credible because her mother's family background is clear in the genealogy.

The printing came out great! I used a low-quality photo and it still came out clear and gorgeous. Good quality bag as well. I can tell it will hold up for years! Thank you. Great quality photo printing

My niece was over the moon when her birthday gifts came in this unicorn monogrammed bag. She considered the bag to be an extra gift. She is going to take her lunch in it for school. Graphics were perfect. Crisp, clear.
