Hoad Monument - Ulverston Postcard
Stunning view of the Hoad Monument that stands 100 ft high on Hoad Hill outside of the town of Ulverston on the Furness peninsula. The monument was built in 1850 by Sir John Barrow and is a local landmark for miles around. A climb to the top of Hoad allows you to walk around the monument and gives you great views of the fells of the stunning Lake District.
