Historic Silver Ornate Writing Box Sherpa Blanket

Sherpa Blankets are available in several sizes. Historic lithograph from a book published in 1858. Artist Francis Bedford and co-author Sir John Charles Robinson illustrated and wrote the book of plates about the treasures represented in England's Museum of Ornamental Art. The fine silver and lacquered ornate writing box was a gift to Queen Elizabeth 1 from India—now was part of London's Marlborough House Collection.
