Hina by Lisa Iris Poster

A sensuous goddess of the moon, sunrise, sunset and fertility, Hina rose from the sea and married a mortal. She escapes earthly limitations by living on the moon, periodically returning to visit her husband and teach life enriching arts to her human family. Her companion bird, (flying across over the moon), brings lunar seeds on its feathers to gift the earth with breadfruit trees. Lightning, (lower right hand corner) is the sound of Hina shaking and folding the celestial cloth she weaves. In the "Ascended Masters Oracle Cards", Hina symbolizes walking away from restrictions and leaving a situation one has outgrown. Hina embodies the balance between love and freedom.
