Himmel (c. 1914/1915) by expressionist artist Marsden Hartley is a vintage abstract expressionism fine art painting. A fireworks scene with an abundance of colours and shapes. The German words of himmel (heaven) and holle (hell) are incorporated into the design. There is also a statue of a man on a horse with a sun and stars in the sky.

I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
