Bouquet garni, a classic French blend of aromatic herbs added to flavour soups, stews and stocks. 4 sprigs fresh Thyme or 1 tsp dried 4 sprigs fresh Parsley or 1 T dried 1 Bay Leaf, fresh or dried 1 sprig fresh Sage (optional) or ½ tsp dried Tie fresh ingredients together with cooking string or tie dry ingredients in cheesecloth bundle. Drop into simmering pot. Remove before serving. Other options include adding whole Black Peppercorns, Rosemary or Marjoram. Bundles of dried Bouquet garni make welcome gifts. Enjoy! I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
