Italy's history and track cycling are deeply intertwined. Inspiring and artistic, this mug with a great 1946 newspaper cover page perfectly shows the excitement and drama of track cycling! (Domenica del Corriere was an Italian weekly newspaper which ran from 1899 to 1989. It came out every Sunday free with the Corriere della Sera, but was also sold separately. It was famous for its cover drawings, and its issues are still collected.)

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
