My sister Isabella and I published a family cookbook! She curated the recipes and handled all the editing, and I made the art and did the graphic design and page layout. The image on this mug is custom art I designed for the front cover. The cookbook's title: Hechts' Kitchen: Family Recipes and Stories. Back cover blurb: Hechts' Kitchen is a collection of family recipes and stories from one large multigenerational Jewish-American family. Some recipes are from the Old Country, others were gifted by friends, and still others were developed through various family members' kitchen experiments (the edible ones!). Delicious recipes, delightful stories, whimsical illustrations, and humourous cooking tips make up a treasure trove of family cooking and history.
