Hecho (Aragones: Echo), Jacetania, Aragon, Spain The Hecho Valley (Valle de Hecho) is part of Jacetania county (Huesca province). It is one of the small, once inaccessible valleys of the Pyrenees. Because of the communication problems every valley was an independent economical and political mini-region in the Middle Ages. The 900 inhabitants of the five villages of the valley are speak a dialect of the Aragones lenguage, the cheso. Today the traditional industries (animal husbandry, agriculture) have been replaced by tourism.
