Hawker Hurricane Jigsaw Puzzle
The Hawker Hurricane was the first monoplane to enter service with the RAF and shot down more aircraft than its partner the spitfire during the Battle of Britain.
This aircraft (Mk XIIa 5711 (G-HURI) was rebuilt in the 1980's using parts sourced from all over Canada and using the airframe of RCAF 5711 that had been built in 1943 by the Canadian Car Foundry.
It is seen here, photographed in 1991, painted in the RAF markings of Z3781 XR-T of No. 71 Eagle Sqdn.
