Havel by Frank Marshall Postcard

"Alpine Aster" a.k.a. "Volfie" is the first-born son of C.I.B./CZ CH/RUS Eswood Lavender Leaf "Laksi" of Lavendermist Meadow Kennel in the Czech Republic. His father is C.I.B./Multi CH/FR CH/CAN CH/AM CH/NO CH/DK CH/LUX CH/PT CH/SCHWZ CH, PT W-2006, DKV-2010 Volfgang D'Arlande of France. Now called "Havel" in honour of the Czechoslovakian statesman, president and poet Vaclav Havel, in recognition of the land of his birth and the birthplace of his owner's father who was born in Prague, this keeshond lives with two other kees (Apache and Lola) at a 20-acre country estate in America. The painting, based on a photograph by his breeder and co-owner Olga Kirsina, was completed by Frank Marshall in 2013. Soon it will hang on the wall of the inn in New York State where Havel makes his home.
