Hat Bearskin – soldier Hoodie

This design is inspired by the British royal hat named: BEARSKIN In every celebration or event held by Buckingham Palace, soldiers are always seen lining up. These soldiers always appear iconic in red uniforms, bayonets, and hats that at first glance look like wigs. Because of its height, the hat makes the wearer's head look more oval and towering. Not made of wigs, this hat is made from bear fur. The hat was first used by British soldiers in 1815 against the French in a battle at Waterloo. This battle then gave birth to the concept of territorial sovereignty. During this battle, French soldiers wore hats that were taller than British soldiers. Then the British adopted the hat form specifically for soldiers who served in royal ceremonies and palace guards as a symbol of their victory. This hat is actually made of bear skin and fur that is sourced from North America and Canada. Each year, the British government buys 50-100 bear skins from Canada alone, where the Inuit hunted them.
