This fully customizeable Happy Easter folded greeting card design features a restored copy of Rabbits at Full Moon, a circa 1925 woodblock print by famed Japanese artist Ohara Koson, 1877-1945. This print depicts two white, apparently wild rabbits or hares with brown eyes resting on a grassy hill adorned with tall purple wildflowers as they gaze at the viewer while a large early twilight pale yellow full moon rises behind them in a gradually darkening clear blue sky. Works by Koson are held in the permanent collections of several prominent international museums. Ohara Koson was a Japanese painter and woodblock print creator of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Koson was a member of the shin-hanga school. Ohara Koson was known for his command of kachō-e designs. During his very productive lifetime Koson made approximately five hundred woodblock prints. During his prolific artist career Koson used at least three different names: Ohara Koson, Ohara Shoson and Ohara Hoson.
