This photo was taken on our Colorado Vacation, from the Mount Evans Scenic Byway, on our way to the summit of Mount Evans, which is at an elevation of 14,264 feet. This 14 mile road is the highest paved road in North America. It was a beautiful warm August day with a few clouds visible against a pretty blue sky. The forest green of the treeline against the backdrop of the mountains both near and far creates a perfect panoramic view of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
