this vintage artwork is by Hermann Vogel 1854-1921 circa 1892 Hansel and Gretel here we see a scene of them beginning to eat the witches ginger bread house as she looks on from an upper floor window. Many charming details in this vintage art including a black cat, toadstools and a snake. there is also a smaller scene bordering the central art showing Hansel and Grettel lost in the woods earlier in the story.
