Haida Tribal Double Thunderbird Native American Coaster

This sandstone coaster features a reproduction of a classic late 1800s Pacific Northwest Native American Haida or Tlingit "Double Thunderbird" totem pole art design. This exact ancient traditional shamanic design was carefully copied and recorded in a late 1800s U.S. government "ethnology" study of the Pacific Northwest Coast indigenous tribes. The Thunderbird symbolizes power, protection and strength. The Thunderbird is also believed to be one of the the most powerful of all aboriginal spirits with the ability to remove its mask and feathers enabling it to change into human form. The artwork design is printed on both the front and the back of this T-Shirt.
