Ha-Ari Sephardi Shul - Tzfat Coffee Mug

A view of the inside of the Ari-Sephardi Synagogue on the holy city of Tzfat (Safed). Customizable text reading,"HaAri Synagogue - Tzfat" also appears. You may add additional text on the reverse side. There are two synagogues in Tzfat which bear the name of the holy Ari (Rabbi Isaac Luria), one, the Ashkenazi synagogue was built two hundred years after his time,the other, the Sephardi synagogue was where he studied Torah and Qabbalah and prayed. The synagogue is the oldest in Tzfat dating from as early as 1522. A small room near the bima is where the Ari is said to have been visited by the prophet Elijah.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
