GRUMMAN IRON WORKS TRUCKER HAT

The "Grumman Wings" design was inspired by a 1930's shop worker embroidered garment that was worn during the period Grumman operated out of the Baldwin Garage shown in my Cover Photo. This garment was manufactured by the A. Rifkin Co., established in 1892 and still in business today! Grumman's products were considered so reliable and ruggedly built that the Navy often referred to the company as the "Grumman Iron Works".
