Hilma af Klint was a late 19th century / early 20th century Swedish artist whose paintings are considered among the first abstract works known in Western art history. She was the trailblazer for abstract art. Her work predates the first purely abstract compositions by Kandinsky and others. Klint's paintings were profoundly inspired by spiritism, especially the Theosophical Movement, and were a visual representation of deeply spiritual ideas.

Gorgeous paper, a little heavier than traditional decoupage tissue, but it worked beautifully on my project nonetheless. Elegant - simple- tres chic! The printing turned out beautifully, it is consistent throughout the entire print with a somewhat faded or mottled coloration. I am in love with this paper.
