Griffin Jigsaw Puzzle

A mighty griffin, a beast of mythology and legend, half eagle, half lion, perches high among snow capped mountains. Wings spread, this fantasy creature cries into the wind. Griffins are found in many ancient mythologies including Greek, Egyptian, and Persian. They also appear in medieval heraldry. They are often associated with treasures and were said to guard them, and, in some legends, to have gold nuggets among the eggs in their nests. I created this image as part of my Greek mythology series. While I have lots of images of dragons and unicorns, this is my first image to feature this well known fantasy creature.
