I have loved carousels since I was a child. The beautiful designs of the animals and music from carousels set up at fairs and parks hold a special place in my heart. This inspired me to draw some carousel horses of my own, then colour them with acrylic ink. The watercolor of a grey horse decorated in blue featured on this mug is one of the results.
