I purchased this case to protect my iphone4. The case is a plastic shell that covers the entires back and sides of the phone. The front is not protected by the case at all but that is the look I wanted. The case itself never gets dirty due to the finish. Looks brand new! Love the vibrant colors! Printing turned out very nice. Nice cursive font and monogrammed letter.
