Solid paper/cardstock. I bought all four houses plus a Hogwarts castle card in this set and they all arrived in 2 days. My only complaint is that there isn't an option to purchase an envelope to mail it in (I'm aware postcards are supposed to ship without one, but I like the option to use an envelope). Good quality printing, looked just like the image on the website, was shipped in a firm cardboard mailer to prevent bending.
