I started to paint a watercolour landscape of Loch Lomond, Scotland but loved how the initial wash,in soft greens,yellow and blues, turned out on the page. The soft colors of the water and the sky blending together – I decided to stop and use it as a print on its own as an abstract view of the Loch in Stirling

I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
