Great Wave Kanagawa Japanese Painting Dartboard
Japanese Woodcut Wave -- Mount Fuji Wave by Hokusa A big wave is out in the ocean -- and you see Mount Fuji in the distant background -- the wave curls around the great Mt. Fuji. The giant wave is so intense that you might almost miss the boaters in the foreground. The famous Great Wave Off Kanagawa is a splendid old Japanese woodcut by famous artist Hokusai. The enormous wave is threatening the boats. This wonderful Japanese wave is called The Great Wave off Kanagawa from 36 Views of Mount Fuji. This wave is often referred to as a tsunami, but the great wave could also be an okinami, or a large wave in the open ocean. Also called Under a Wave off Kanagawa or just "The Wave", this is a famous woodblock print by Japanese artist Hokusai. The print was originally published between 1830 and 1833. All the prints in the Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, including The Great Wave, showcases Mount Fuji in different conditions.

The personalized dart board will be perfect for my daughter's game room in their new house! It was packaged well and arrived with no damage. It is rather sturdy. Because of the weight, I am going to recommend they use an anchor bolt to secure it or nail into a stud behind the drywall. The printing turned out exactly like I saw it on the preview.
