Grayscale Cake Birthday Card

This card shows a tiered cake centred on the page, drawn with black linework and shaded in soft greys for a calm, intimate look 🎂. Four stacked layers are outlined clearly, and each tier is topped with a thick glaze that drips down in slow, sweet trails, like something shared between close friends. A single dark fruit with a curved stem sits on the top layer, adding a small romantic touch, like a finishing garnish placed with care. Beneath the cake, light cross-hatching suggests a tabletop and gives the scene a steady, grounded feel. Near the top of the design, the words “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” appear above the cake in dark lettering, spaced to follow the width of the illustration. The background stays mostly open, with gentle grey washes that soften the edges and make the central dessert feel like the main focus 🎉. The glaze is shaded to look glossy, and the fruit reads as nearly black against the pale grey background.
