Gravitational Blueshift Travel Mug
A multi-coloured, fractal representation of gravitational blueshifting; the shifting of light toward the blue end of the spectrum that occurs as photons become more energetic when falling into a gravity well. Unlike the more commonly known Doppler blueshift, an apparent effect which is the result of motion towards the observer, gravitational blueshift is real, independent of the received angle of the photon. This mug was exactly as described. I have purchased the stainless steel one before and the white is a nice change (stainless steel inside). I found the lavender purple a little light for my liking but that's my fault. Next time I'll choose a more grapey purple.
