It is a very high tide at the Prom at Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria on a sunny spring day in this stunning photo image. Grange-over-Sands is a small town on the edge of the Lake District in the UK that grew up with the arrival of the the railway in the mid nineteenth century strung along the shore of the Morecambe Bay. Usually there is a stretch of grass between the Promenade and the golden sands and sea but the spring high tide has brought the water right up to the wall.
