The narrowboat Aber, a 1937 large Woolwich, towing another boat somewhere between the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal, England. The photo shows the boatman's cabin with traditional roses and castles paintwork (painted by me!) and the brass trimmed chimney from the wood stove. The front of the boat, or hold, is open for transporting coal and other goods.
