This is my son's original coloured pencil drawing of a gouldian finch. Gouldian finches are an endangered species of bird that are native to Australia. They are the most glorious shades, usually with a red face, a yellow belly and a purple breast, although there are other attractive variations.They nest in tree hollows and termite mounds. I ordered these with interiors of yellow, red, maroon, pink, navy blue, and light blue. Note that the navy blue is VERY dark and looks black in some lighting.
