An Aum or Om symbol sits inside of a elaborate sun design. The star is made up of eight stylized rays that stretch out like spokes from a circle in the center. The intricate lines and dots are coloured with a golden yellow that is highlighted to give the pattern a light shine on the surface. The background is painted deep blue that can be seen through the negative space of the sun. A shadow appears just beneath the design making it seem to float just above the surface of the ornament.
