Gold & Glitter Wedding Invitation

Gold & Glitter is a beautiful combination for an evening wedding. I can see champagne or whatever colour you choose dresses. Using an inexpensive gold shimmering fabric (you can get this at your local fabric store) 1 to 1-1/2 inches wide and 5 to 6 feet long (or the length you desire tied around each attendants neck as a choker. This choker will be tied in the back with the long ends flowing down onto the back of the champagne coloured dresses. So beautiful, elegant and so unique. I see the same shimmering fabric, about 2 inches wrapped around the attendants wrists to be used as cuffs. A dramatic affect! The underside of the wrap can be held closed with adhesive velcro, (no one will see this if you hide it on the bottom inside of the cuff). I think cuffs are a very under rated accessory. They can absolutely make or break an outfit. Now, for the bride. I see your white or ivory bridal gown with a beautiful gold shimmery fabric (same as used on bridesmaids and maid of honour) waist sash with tails flowing down the train of your gown as you walk down to greet the love of your life. I can just picture it. Lovely. As for the flowers I see your choice of wedding colours with lots of greens. Ask the florist to sprinkle the finished bouquets with clear glitter over the entire bouquet. Not a lot, but over all flowers and greens. Wrap each bouquet stalk with shimmery champagne fabric. It is an amazing look if you have all your flowers sprinkled with just a hint of the glitter, boutonnieres, mothers corsages, ring bearer pillow, etc. Now, candlelight, candlelight and more candlelight. Candles on the end of each pew wrapped with the shimmery fabric or row of seats which will make the girls gold fabric handmade jewellery (which is just wrapped fabric, but looks like so much more and looks fabulous) as well as the glittered bouquet shimmer in the light. Gorgeous! Use a lot of greens in the flowers so as not to take away anything from the beautiful "gold" which is your main colour. I would have the girls wear off white or taupe heels so as not to take away from the gold which is where you want everyone's eyes to go. I am a very budget conscious girl who looks to the simple things to look fabulous. You don't have to spend a lot on anything for it or you to look like a million bucks. I believe it's all in the presentation.
