Glover Garden Japan Postcard

Glover Garden is an open-air museum featuring historic Western-style residences built by foreign merchants during Nagasaki's era of international settlement. The centerpiece is the former Glover Residence, Japan's oldest wooden Western building, which offers panoramic views of the bustling harbour. The lush, flower-filled gardens are said to be the setting of Puccini's opera, 'Madame Butterfly'.
