The British Gloster Meteor was the first fully operational fighter used by the Allies during the closing months of the Second World War. Singles seated with four 20mm cannons the meteor remained in service till the early 1960s. The meteor served with many Commonwealth nations and others seeing service in Korea ,Suez . Many Meteors survive in museums around the world. This print depicts 'X ray ' of 74 Squadron 1955
