She is in a beautiful green garden as she plays with some small cute chicks (baby chickens). The mother hen is standing looking at her chicks. The girl is also holding a sandwich to eat. The girl is wearing a traditional dress and she has her hair in pigtails. The original artwork was painted in 1912.
