The Germans are most famous for their Tiger tanks during WW2. But during WW1, as a response the to appearance of British tanks on the battlefield, the Germans responded with this fearsome looking machine, the A7V. They were used in action from March to October 1918, and were the only tanks produced by Germany in World War I to be used in combat.
