Gerald Glass Dot Running Elephant Post Card

Gerald is an original watercolor painting on 300# Arches hot press paper. He appears with his friends in "The Small Friends' Chronicles," a 70-page collection of whimsical creatures' portraits and stories. He is a distant cousin to the Stained Glass Animals, whose history is set out in "The Small Friends' Chronicles," and he was probably made by the same Italian glass artist who made them all in 1883. Not as well documented as the Stained Glass Animals, research suggests that the Glass Dots were created for a French woman who loved bright and shiny things that were not jewellery.
