Georges Seurat’s Impressionist masterpiece “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte”. Georges Seurat was born 2 Dec 1859 to an upscale Parisian family. Seurat was a systematic neo-impressionist. Seurat is known today as one of the pointillist masters. He analyzed the proportions of the components of a tint to divide them into colours of the spectrum and then applied them with great precision so that there blending would produce the tint and his desired degree of vibration.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
