Still inspired by the vibrant tropical colours of the Tahitian landscape, Siesta features young women lounging on a porch. One wears an orange blouse, one a pink blouse, and the other a black skirt with blue blouse and flowers. The woman in the centre of the painting wears a cute hat with polka dot scarf.
